Fifteen pizza places, 22 locations, inside Wilmington's city limits: downtown, Oleander Drive, Mayfaire, the Cargo District and South College Road.

Last checked Oct. 11, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Wilmington’s pizza clusters downtown, where five places sit within a few blocks of the river and several stay open late on weekends, and along Oleander Drive, where Papa Johns, Pizza Hut and a Mellow Mushroom share the road. More are at Mayfaire, in the Cargo District and on South College Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Wilmington’s city limits, the data that also feeds our local directory, plus places in the Downtown Wilmington dining directory and the chains’ own store lists. We checked each one against its own website on Oct. 11, 2026, and checked each address against the city limits with the U.S. Census Bureau’s address lookup; places with a Wilmington mailing address in unincorporated New Hanover County, such as Porters Neck and Ogden, are not here. I Love NY Pizza has no website; it is listed from the downtown directory. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places?
